Dartmouth, undertook to build a meeting house, for the people
of God in scorn called Quakers; 35 foot long, 30 foot wide, and
14 food stud. He gave 3 pounds toward expenses. The house was
built the same year, being the first house of worship erected
for that purpose in the town of Dartmouth.

firewood, ten bushels of apples, and a barrel of cider, and
they to have use of great lower room southernmost bedroom, and
porch chamber while unmarried. To granddaughter Cassandra
Mott, 10 pounds. To grandson Jacob, son of Adam, a good cow at
age. To son Jacob, rest of movables.

canes, spectacles, books 6 pounds, 10 shillings, plate 14
pounds, money scales, feather beds, warming pan, pewter, loom,
spinning wheel, hogshead of cider 2 marcs, 1/2 a mare, 9 cows,
heifer, 5 two years, 4 yearlings, 2 steers, bull, 73 sheep and
lambs, 10 shoats, geese, turkeys, his part of cider mill 2
pounds, &c.
