Note: Denicy Finney was born August 31, 1808, in Grant County,
Kentucky; died November 27, 1890 aged 82 years, 2 months, 27
days. Mother Finney had been a faithful member of the M. E.
Church over 25 years. Her life was an epistle known and read of
all men. Her faith was a sublime exhibition of the Power of God
to save to the uttermost. The funeral services were conducted
by her pastor, Rev. B. H. Beall, at the M. E. Church, Argos,
and were attended by a large gathering of people, in
attestation of her worth and memory.
