Note: In 1965, Sue graduated from Custer High School, in 1969
received her BA degree, and in 1971 completed her Masters
degree in social work. Her first job was in Harlan, Kentucky
but in 1973 she returned to Mason County as the Director of
Life Consultation Services. As such, she assisted in the
development of several services, including an innovative
curriculum for mentally retarded adolescents, a recreation
program for mentally retarded adults, and a citizens advocacy
program.
Currently, Sue is assistant professor of social work at Lincoln
Memorial University, renewing her friendships and working on
any number of craft projects.
