Joseph C. Shue, 85, of 179 N. Bonnie St., Ludington, died today
at Oakeview Medical Care Facility, following an ? had been a
patient for two days.

Joseph Shue was born April 1, 1900, in Custer Township. He was
married Jul 28, 1919 in Mason County to Jessie Knowles, who
preceded to in death on March 3, 1985. He had been a resident
of Mason County.

He was a charter member of the Ludington Church of the
Nazarene. He began employment at Star Watch Case Co., at 15
years of age and worked there for 50 years. He retired in
1965.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Doris) ? of
Ludington and MRs. Richard (Donna) Chvala of Muskegon; ?
grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great
grandchild; two brothers, Chester Shue of Newport Richey, Fla.,
and Charles Shue of Holiday, Fla.; several nephews, nieces and
cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday at the Ludington
Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Arvid Norton, former
pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Custer...
