Know all Men by these Presents that we John Pfoutz & Maria his Wife Christian Herr & Elizabeth his Wife Benedict Bucher junior & Susanna his Wife & Salome Mohler all of the County of Lancaster in Pennsylvania (the sd Maria, Elizabeth, Susanna and Salome being four of the Daughters of Henry Mohler late of Cocolico Township in the said County of Lancaster Yeoman deceased) do hereby acknowledge to have had & received of & from Jacob Keller & Daniel Bowman the Executors of the Last Will & Testament of the said Henry Mohler decd the just & full Sum of Seven hundred and twenty eight Pounds in Specie in for the several & respective Legacies to us the said Maria Wife of the said John Pfoutz, Elizabeth Wife of the said Christian Herr Susanna Wife of the said Benedict Bucher junior & Salome Mohler given in & by the Last Will and Testament of our said late Father Henry Mohler deceased And we the said John Pfoutz & Maria his Wife Christian Herr & Elizabeth his Wife Benedict Bucher junior & Susanna his Wife & Salome Mohler in Consideration of the Premisses aforesaid for ourselves severally & respectively and for our several & respective Heirs Executors and administrators Have remised released & forever quitclaimed and by these Presents Do and each of us Doth remise release & forever quitclaim unto the said Jacob Keller & Daniel Bowman the Executors aforesaid their heirs Executors & Administrators all and all Manner of Action & Actions Cause & Causes of Action & Actions Suits Debts Dues Duties Reckonings accounts Sum & Sums of Money Controversies and Demands whatsoever both at Law & in Equity or otherwise howsoever which against them the said Jacob Keller & Daniel Bowman Executors aforesaid or either of them we or either of us our or either of our Heirs Executors & Administrators or any of them shall or can or may have claim challenge or demand for or on account of the Monies or Legacies aforesaid or any part thereof or in any Manner thereto relating. Lancaster County ss Personally came and apeared before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the Court of Comon Place for said County Henry Mohler one of the Subscribing Witneses to the within Release and on his Solemn afirmation before me declared and saith that he was present and saw John Pfoutz Maria, Phoutz, Christian Herr, Elizabeth Herr, Benedict Bucher Jr. Susanna Bucher and Salome Bucher [this should be Mohler but isn't] sing seal and deliver the within Release and desired that the same might be recorted as such and that he also saw Abraham Herr, Frantz Grose, Jacob Bucher John Mohler subscrib their Names as Witnesses to the same and that he himself sete his Name as a Witnes to the same as Witness my Hand and Seal the seventh Day of November 1785 Adam Nees (Seal)
